Taylor Rental Party Plus of Wallingford is looking for individuals for our fast growing special event rental company. We need individuals for installation of events. This is a full time seasonal position from May to end of October.
~~Nature of work:
Responsible for timely installation, safe use of tents and related equipment. Will help customers and delivery personnel load and unload vehicles. The work is typically very physical and demanding, from both strength and stamina standpoints. Will also help maintain inventory. Shipping and receiving functions, from light to heavy, are also performed. Assisting with janitorial responsibilities, both inside and outside the premises may also be involved.
~~Education, Skills & Requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment.
- Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Must possess customer relation skills.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Must be able to speak English clearly, and write legibly.
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
- Must be able to provide, understand, and complete instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.
- Must be punctual and have own transportation to work.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some early mornings, holidays, weekends and evenings.
- Experience a plus but will train qualified candidate.
